IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All appointments are subject to cancellation or rescheduling.  All appointments will take place remotely, where possible.  If you think you may have Coronavirus, please visit the NHS 111 website, where you will be able to check your symptoms and get some information on how to self-isolate.

If you have any other URGENT medical need, please telephone the surgery and ask for a call back from a member of the clinical team, where you will be given a telephone call or video consultation. A very small number or patients may need to be seen in the surgery.  These patients will be given special instructions.  ONLY COME TO THE SURGERY IF YOU ARE SPECIFICALLY INSTRUCTED TO DO SO.

Prescription Ordering

The NHS POD service is provided by NHS Coventry & Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group. All calls are answered by dedicated, experienced and fully-trained call handlers.

Routine repeat prescription requests can made via the new NHS POD service (based at Coventry & Rugby CCG). This is a new and convenient way to order your repeat prescription by a dedicated call handler.  Telehphone (024) 7624 6072 Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.

Alternatives to using the POD are:

  • Handing in your own repeat slip/written request.
  • Ordering your prescriptions via Patient Access.  Please sign up at reception (all we need is your email address).
  • Pharmacies can order for those patients who are deemed vunerable.

Orders placed each day will be authorised by the GP and sent to your usual pharmacy. Please allow TWO full working days for this process.

If you have a nominated pharmacy, your prescption will be delivered electronically and you will not need to collect from the practice.  Prescriptions not available on repeat may require you to see a GP.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
