One Wednesday a month, we will be closed for PLT (protected learning time). On these days, we will be closed from 12:30 onwards, so that the clinical staff can receive up-to-date training. During this time, calling our surgery number will redirect you to Care UK, so that you can still receive any urgent care you may need.

Walk-In Centre

There is an NHS Walk-In Centre located at Coventry City Health Centre, Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry, CV1 4FH. It is open 7 days a week 08:00 – 22:00, 365 days a year.

Out of Hours Service

If you have an urgent medical problem outside working hours, please call 111 (free from landlines and mobiles). This NHS service is to be used when a situation is less urgent than 999.

NHS 111 will provide information regarding access to medical care. When you contact NHS 111, details will be taken down and you will directed to the appropriate team, who can offer advice, assessment and treatment, either over the telephone, at a centre and only, if necessary, as a home visit.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Protected Learning Time

One Wednesday every month, the Practice will be closed for PLT (Protected Learning Time) from 12:30 pm onwards for the afternoon.

This gives an opportunity for GP Practices to address staff learning and professional development needs.
