Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If possible, please try to telephone the practice reception before 10am if you require a home visit.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Surgery.

Home visits usually take place during the lunchtime period, between the end of morning surgery and the start of afternoon surgery (12pm-3pm).

To request a home visit, please:

  • Call the surgery on 02476 457 497 before 10.30am.
  • Be prepared to tell the receptionist about your condition so we can prioritise the most urgent cases and arrange the most appropriate course of action.
  • Ensure the surgery has up-to-date details of your address and telephone number(s)
