We will be moving the ordering of repeat prescriptions to the NHS POD on 15th January 2017. This service was set up in Coventry over 2 years ago and many GP practices have already made the move.

The NHS POD service (02476 246 072) is provided by NHS Coventry & Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group. All calls are answered by dedicated, experienced and fully trained call handlers. We will be cascading information across the practice over the next few weeks. See Reception for further details.

Named GP For All

4th July 2015

From the 1st of April 2015, the practice is required under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients, including children a named accountable GP.

At Copsewood Medical Centre, patients already have a named GP on their records as a part of the registration process. We recognise that this named GP may not be the doctor you normally see, therefore it is acceptable to assume your regular GP retains responsbility for your care.

Please note: there is no need to telephone the practice for further information.

This does not prevent you from requesting to see any GP or nurse for your appointments.
